Upon approval by the government on 2 September 2020, PM Narendra Modi led Mission Karmayogi have been launched.

Mission Karmayogi Yojana 2021

The Mission Karmayogi Yojana program will help train government employees in various skill sets. Skills training and online content will be provided throughout the process. 

During the implementation of this scheme, there will be more attention given to training on the job. This program is a skills building program. With the implementation of this scheme, the working style of government employees will also improve. 

After the civil officers are appointed under this scheme, they will be provided with training to increase their skills and levels of competence. It will result in improved performance among the officers. Several routes will be offered by Mission Karmayogi Yojana 2021. All routes will be run and accompanied. 

Under PM Narendra Modi's chairmanship, this scheme will be pursued. The newly elected HR Council will be joined by selected Union Ministers and Chief Ministers.

Special Purpose Vehicle Roll

An entity will be established under section 8 of Companies Act 2013 for implementation of the Mission Karmayogi Yojana. A non-profit corporation will be operating this special purpose vehicle. This platform will be managed by iGOT. A Special Purpose Vehicle will be used for the following works.

  • The Made in India platform will be promoted.

  • This platform will be carefully designed, implemented, and managed.

  • Telemetry Database Scoring, Monitoring and Evaluation.

  • Feedback Assessment.

Changes made in the Mission Karmayogi Civil Service

The training will be provided to government employees and those working in the civil service at any time. In this scheme, government officials and employees will benefit from training facilities provided through mobile, laptops, etc. 

Besides the top consultants as part of this training, there will also be consultants belonging to different departments. This has also improved the concept of on-site learning by emphasizing improved off-site learning. The government has prepared a five-year budget for Mission Karmayogi yojana, out of which 510.86 crores has been allocated.

Objective of Mission Karmayogi Yojana

The primary purpose of Mission Karmayogi Yojana is to improve the skills of government employees. The government will make many amendments for this purpose. Since the employees will receive training, e-learning content is provided.

Mission working plan budget

For the Mission Karmayogi Yojana, the government has set a budget of Rs 510.86 crore for a period of five years. The central government employs 46 lakh people. 

This scheme will lead to the formation of a private special purpose vehicle company. 

The entire process will be governed by the provisions of Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013. The iGOT working platform will be owned and managed by a non-profit organization.
